Beginning in 1983, Road Rovers were issued with Road Rover written in silver on the tires, rather than white walls. In 1984, they were displayed in individual cardboard merchandisers with background display scenes. |
| The 1983 cars were also offered in 1984 and 1985 but without the individual merchandisers. The alpha codes were changed from 275GCJ to 145PF and had stickers on the bottom of the cars with the stock number. |
